Fall

Its only August but I feel the presence of Fall in the air

The crispy light morning breeze, the gentle golden sun rays & the early morning chill

Hails of impending Fall around the corner

Fall, the season of harvest and many other fun

The colorful hue of the birch, maple, ash and poplar trees adorning the landscape

Kids playing in the backyard and raising a storm of dried leaves

Picking apples and peaches on a lazy sun-soaked afternoon

Making apple pie and enjoying cranberry tart

But alas, would miss those summer days

Lazying on the shores and beaches of the Cape

Road Less Travelled

On a dark road I used to walk alone, feeling tired and weary

YOU appeared from nowhere and held my hand

Since then we have been walking together

My walk became fun and lively with YOUR presence

YOUR giggle, laughter and every stare at me would melt my heart
The gentle flowing breeze would brush your silken hair against my face

But alas, this was short lived and I lost the real YOU one day
You seemed a different person, not the ONE I knew

Now I fear walking alone on that dark road again

Prepared to take on the challenges of this mortal world

But I know that at the end of that dark road there would be light

And, YOU may be there waiting for me...

Closed Doors

I come home home every night looking for thee my love
Keep thy door open so that I know you are waiting for me as eagerly as I am
Would wait for hours if thy door is closed
May even fall asleep outside those closed doors
Would come back again the next day to knock on thy closed doors
Never get tired coming back home to thee, thy love and thine warmth...

Crazy Dreams

I would like to get lost in those dreamy eyes
The eyes that have the depth of the ocean in them
The eyes that dream those dreams and travel to those far-away places
Together with you wherever you go, take me along with you

Fold me in your wings and lets fly together
